After a successful DJ career in the late 80s, Cutfather transitioned into production, earning a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Song with Queen Latifah. His remix of Mark Morrison’s “Return of the Mack” topped charts in both the UK and the US and was recently sampled by Post Malone. Notably, he co-wrote and co-produced Jamelia’s “Superstar,” winning the prestigious Ivor Novello Award for PRS Most Performed Work.

With over 30 years in the industry, Cutfather has collaborated with a plethora of major talents, including P!nk, Keith Urban, Katy Perry and Marshello. His repertoire boasts 7 #1 singles and over 50 Top 10 singles in the UK, along with 4 Top 10 hits in the US. Notable achievements include producing Ace of Base’s “Cruel Summer” and All Saints’ “I Know Where It’s At”.

Additional successes include co-writing and co-producing Olly Murs and Demi Lovato’s million-selling “Up,” Matoma feat. Becky Hill’s streaming hit “False Alarm,” and Zedd & Katy Perry’s global smash “365”. Cutfather’s influence extends to Korea, where he’s achieved Billboard #1 success with Twice and other notable Korean artists includng Aespa, NCT-127, Taeyeon, Taemin, Twice, SuperM to name a few.
